The Glastonbury Pagan Moot meets at 19:00 on the first Wednesday of the month at the Mitre Inn, Benedict Street, Glastonbury BA6 9NE.
The nearest place to park is in the car park of Glastonbury Abbey, next to the Town Hall. To get to Benedict Street from the car park, walk to the right until you get to the Cat and Cauldron shop, Benedict Street is opposite. The Mitre is 100 metres down Benedict Street on the left (see map).
We start the moot with a talk, then we'll have our bardic session, so don't be shy if you'd like to sing a song, tell a story or recite a poem. If not, just enjoy listening.
The May moot will be skipped forward a bit from our usual slot - the first Wednesday in May is actually May Day itself, in which Glastonbury will already be alive with Beltane events, all of which are worth going to join in with. So we'll be meeting the week after, May 8th, at 7pm, and we will also have a Beltane theme. Most of the meet up time will be given over to Bardic space, so bring along songs to sing, stories to tell, poems to perform, or instruments you play, and we'll join in with the celebratory energy of the whole Beltane season.
Annabelle Markwick-Staff will be repeating her talk "Introduction to Qabalah", as it was so well received last time and contained so much info in a short space of time.
A talk by Stephen and Sandra Cole.
