Glastonbury Pagan Moot

Wednesday, 3 April 2019

Hi mootfolk,

Thanks to everyone who came along to last week's moot, it was a great atmosphere - and a circle of 13 is very witchy!

Thanks especially to Janetta Morton, our friendly neighbourhood astrologer, for making such a fascinating subject so much fun to listen to. Janetta can also be found at the Assembly Rooms giving regular readings.

Next month's moot will be skipped forward a bit from our usual slot - the first Wednesday in May is actually May Day itself, in which Glastonbury will already be alive with Beltane events, all of which are worth going to join in with. So we'll be meeting the week after, May 8th, at 7pm, and we will also have a Beltane theme. Most of the meet up time will be given over to Bardic space, so bring along songs to sing, stories to tell, poems to perform, or instruments you play, and we'll join in with the celebratory energy of the whole Beltane season.

Meanwhile, this month - and the next few months following - will have wonderful things happening at the Library of Avalon.

First Tuesday of every month, at 7pm, is a talk by scholar Nick Hutton on the Arthurian legends and their history. £3 entry.

First Saturday of every month, at 12noon, is the Library Matinee, each month focussing on one of the variety of subjects covered by the library's vast array of esoteric books. Entry by donation.

Third Thursday of every month, 5:30pm, is a Tarot talk by Jackie Hosein, also entry by donation.

Sandra will also be at every Tuesday's indoor market in the Assembly Rooms offering Tarot readings all through the day.

So we'll see you all on May 8th, at 7pm, in the Mitre Inn, on Benedict Street, as usual, if we don't see you before at the Library of Avalon!

Bright blessings,

Stephen and Sandra
