Glastonbury Pagan Moot

Wednesday, 3 July 2019

Hi Moot members,

Thanks so much to those of you who came to our July discussion on gender and spirituality, it was a great experience. The Pagan Federation are really focussing right now on making sure their events, and the community as a whole, are a safe space for LGBTQIA+ members to feel surrounded by allies and able to explore the many sides of their identity, both sexual and spiritual. As a moot we will be making sure that a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of everything we do.

Our next moot will be on August 7th, at the usual time and place: Mitre Inn, Benedict Street, 7pm. We will be celebrating the festival known as Lammas or Lughnasadh, depending on where you're from - the time when the seasons begin to flow from Sunshine to Harvest.

Bring along songs to sing, stories to tell, poems to perform, and instruments to play. After a time of attunement to the elemental energies of the season, this moot will mainly be a Bardic space. How long it goes on for depends on how many of us there are and how much we want to give!

Bright blessings,

Stephen & Sandra
